What's
On in Devonport....
Until
25th May 2012 - Photographic exhibition at the
Navy Museum - Revisioned - the Gun Emplacements
of Devonport by Guy Robinson. Photographer
Guy Robinsons explorations among the gun
emplacements of North Head, Mt Victoria and Fort
Takapuna inspired him to portray these landmarks
in new ways. Photographing them at night he invests
decaying utilitarian structures of concrete and
steel with an organic beauty that has been staged
by the wind, sea and time. For further details,
visit the Navy Museums re-launched web site
at www.navymuseum.co.nz
