The
Scout Den is available for hire by local community groups, for
classes, kids birthday parties, meetings and so on. The spacious
hall has a wooden floor, making it ideal for dance, karate,
pilates, yoga or Tai Ch'i classes, and is heated with a Rinnai
instant heat gas heater. The changing room is equipped with
a shower and the fully functional kitchen includes fridge, stove,
microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery for up to 30 people.
Folding tables are available for use.
The
Den can be hired out on a one-off basis or for regular events.
Basic rates for hire are $15 per hour for regular use or, for
example, $50 for a kids party. A $250 bond is usually required.
