1st Devonport Venturer Unit started up in August 2011
We meet at the Scout Den on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm

"Thank you for lending me your Venturer Scouts for our Athletics Series this year. They were very helpful, and showed some good initiative when needed. I would especially like to thank Peter, who stepped in when one of our more senior people wasn't able to attend at the last minute. I had a new "agility" activity this year. Peter helped me to run the first 2 groups that went through, then managed the marshalling for that activity for the entire series. He, in turn briefed one of his colleagues, and came up with some interesting and effective challenges for each of the age groups that came through. Each week two of the boys ran the sausage sizzle, and three of them assisted very ably with marshalling.

I hope that they found it worthwhile, and that their fundraising was successful.
